A bit about me...

My journey as a playwright began when I was 19. I joined the Maryland Ensemble Theater, a local professional theater company in my hometown of Frederick, Maryland. As a part of MET I was afforded all kinds of theater experiences, as well as exposed to amazing creative energy. One of MET's core missions is to produce original works, and I quickly realized this was personal goal of my own as well. Through encouragement and guidance, my first play was produced at MET when I was only 22. During my nearly two decades with MET I had the opportunity to see12 of my plays/musicals produced on their stage, spanning across many genres. The success of two of these productions resulted in performances done in Washington D.C. and New York City.

Having grown up in such an amazing and supportive environment where I could be free to create, I realized I wanted to provide the same type of place for other young people. By partnering with my mentor, Julie Herber, I dedicated my time to MET's Summer Outreach Program to do just this. I spent my time witht the theater working this program and creating plays designed for young actors in our area.

When I'm not writing, I am busy running my dog training business, Creekside Canine Training, snuggling with my pups Hank and Harvey, spending time with friends and family, and nerding out to sci-fi and fantasy books, movies, and tv shows.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it!
