Synopsis
Tensions are high when a Jewish-Catholic family reunites for their traditional Hanukah and Christmas celebrations. Join this eccentric, quirky family as they do their best to make it through the Holiday’s. Relationships will be challenged and secrets will be revealed that will test the family more than they have ever been before. Will they be strong enough to survive or will this be the final straw that breaks them for good. Come for the brisket, wine, and whiskey but stay for a heartfelt story of love, heartbreak, discovery, and hopefully...forgiveness. Oh and cookies…lots and lots of cookies.
Production
After a workshopping process, a Very Jewish Christmas premiered in 2024 at Maryland Ensemble Theater in Frederick, MD. It is a two act play with a run time roughly two hours and ten minutes.

Casting
The cast of A Very Jewish Christmas consists of seven actors ranging from ages 25-60. They have the appearance of a nuclear family. The mom, the dad, brother, sister, uncle, family friends. The ages can vary depending on the age of the actors cast.
