When a group of students crash land on an unknown island they soon discover that they are not alone. Shortly after, they are taken captive by a group of "Beast Folk," half human/half animal creatures, whom they come to learn are the creation of a mysterious person that the Beast Folk refer to as "the hand that wounds." This man's name is Dr. Moreau. He is a mad man scientist determined to perfect the human race.
